Dr. Marwan Suheimat has joined QUT in April 2012 immediately after the completion of his PhD from the National University of Ireland, Galway; where he worked with Prof. Chris Dainty to build anadaptive optics retinal camera. He had previously obtained his MSc in Photon Science from theUniversity of Manchester (2008) and his BSc in Physics from the University of Jordan (2004).

As a physicist working in vision science, Dr. Suheimat is interested in building optical devices which advance the field of vision research. Those device aid the Optometrists in the group in their pursuit to better understand and correct the human visual system.
