Dr Ajay Pandey was awarded a PhD in Physics from the University of Angers (France) with thesis titled ” Physics and Models of Plastic Photovoltaic Devices”. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Robotics. He held prestigious fellowships including QUT-Vice Chancellor’s Senior Research Fellowship in Medical Robotics, and Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Research Fellowship in Next generation Photovoltaic Technology.
His research interests have the interdisciplinary mix of Photonics, Chemical Physics, Molecular Electronics, Computer Science and Robotics that are aimed at creating new technological solutions to interdisciplinary research problems. He leads a number of major research projects, including development and implementation of advanced sensing technology for applications in Neuroscience, Intelligent Bionics, Medical Robotics, Energy up-conversion and Robotic Vision. He is a Program Leader within QUT’s Centre for A Waste Free World and also serves as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports- a Springer Nature Group journal.
