People's perceptions about the importance of forests on Borneo: dominant items from the forest perception indices based on an analysis of variance

An interview of 1,837 Indonesian and Malaysian Borneon's was conducted to investigate their perceptions of the importance of forests for their livelihoods and health. Responses were analysed and catalogued within discrete indices. The dataset presents the dominant items from the indices, based on Analysis of Variance. Data is presented as a summary of responses in decreasing order of importance from the 1,837 most reliable respondents.
