Descriptive statistics of dengue cases among SLAs in northern Queensland, Australia, 1993-2012

The dataset provides summary descriptive statistics for dengue cases across statistical local areas or SLAs in northern Queensland, Australia through the years 1993 - 2012. The study period was divided into four time periods, with five years in
each time period for the ease of the analysis and to visualise the
spatial and temporal patterns more clearly and precisely: Period 1:
1993–1997, Period 2: 1998–2002, Period 3: 2003–2007 and Period 4:
2008–2012.
