Dr. Halim Moore is an early career researcher with a doctoral thesis on applying a dual mechanism framework of reward for evaluating efficacy of dietary interventions. He has been published in, or submitted publications to, journals such as Appetite, Journal of Behavioral Medicine, and the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity. With a background in Health Psychology, his general interests lie in psychological and physiological mechanisms of appetite and eating behaviour, human metabolism, nutrition, and intervention design to ameliorate metabolic pathologies and promote healthier eating habits. He is currently completing a post doc in the field of metabolic and appetitive adaptations to physical activity.
