Mapping St Lucia: OpenRatSLAM dataset

Viewed: 3668
The Mapping St Lucia: OpenRatSlam dataset is a vision dataset which records a 66km drive through the Brisbane suburb of St. Lucia.

RatSLAM is a robot navigation and SLAM system based on computational models of the hippocampus. The approach uses a combination of appearance based visual scene matching, competitive attractor networks, and a semi-metric topological map representation.

The vision for this dataset was captured using the built-in iSight camera of an Apple Macbook notebook, mounted to the roof of a car. Grayscale images were captured at a frame rate of 10.0 frames per second at a resolution of 640×480 pixels.
