Architecture and the city datasets

This data consists of images, diagrams and reports detailing about 140 cities around the world, articulated in:
a. Spatial data:
- Forma Urbis
- Figureground
- Nollie Map
- Urban Section
- Street section
- Historic data - historic analysis and urban timeline
- Mobility data - mobility analysis
- Land uses - functional analysis
- Building typologies - Morpho-typological analysis
b. Visual data:
- Images
- Sketches
- Visual diagrams
Maps are developed using data freely available online, for example historic information, mobility information as well as original data generated through special and visual analysis. Data are currently published in an open source freely accessible platform and they can be reused apon referencing.
The files formats include.pez (downloadable as a series of .jpeg and . html). The software used is Prezi, and the file sizes vary between individual datasets.
Data can be accessed through every common web browser. In order to download the data and save them to a local hard drive, it is necessary to subscribe to the platform www.prezi.com
Access rights
Access is mediated; chief investigator can provide links to specific data for individual cities or keywords to identify groups of cities within the online platform.
