The Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Village boundary was created using an extraction of Lot 4 on SP267761 from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines' Digital Cadastre Database(DCDB) on the 18/09/2014. This lot was identifed as being the area for the commonwealth Games Village using various sources for which website links have been provided below:

A PDF of the original survey plan has also been provided which states that this plan was surveyed on the 9th April 2014 and the the lot is currently owned by the Minister for Economic Development Queensland.

This dataset is used in conjunction with other datasets in The Cube Globe G20 visualisation project. This project provides information on construction through case studies of innovation in infrastructure, including the venues for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
