Thierry is an Associate Professor and Mining3 Chair in Mining Robotics in the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Discipline at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT).
His current research interests focus on mobile robotics and autonomous systems in challenging environments, and include: resilient perception, multimodal sensing, sensor data fusion, robotic vision, mapping and localisation, and terrain traversability estimation for unmanned ground vehicles.
Thierry was a Research Affiliate with the Australian Centre for robotic Vision before joining as an Associate Investigator in May 2018.
