Climate change, food and nutrition security, and diet-related non-communicable diseases in Vanuatu

This dataset consists of qualitative data collected in two villages in Vanuatu as part of the PhD project "A qualitative exploration of the impacts of climate change on food and nutrition security and diet-related non-communicable diseases in Vanuatu".  The field notes consist of 15 group workshop results and 29 informal narrative conversations.  The dataset also includes 32 semi-structured interviews with key national and international informants. 

NVivo (qualitative data analysis software) was used to code the data. 

Access rights

The data generated and/or analysed during the study 'A qualitative exploration of the impacts of climate change on food and nutrition security and diet-related non-communicable diseases in Vanuatu' are not publicly available due to participant confidentiality, however, some of the data may be available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.

Data file types

This dataset consists of 15 x group workshop outputs, 29 x narrative informal conversations (storian), field notes. Workshop outputs: pdf, jpeg, png Storian: pdf Field notes: pdf File sizes are small. Workshop outputs are the largest with a total of 307MB. Other files are of negligible size. No special software or hardware is required to access the dataset.
