Maree Izatt is the clinical Project Coordinator for the Biomechanics & Spine Research Group (formerly the Paediatric Spine Research Group). She joined the group at its inception in 2002, having previously worked with the Spine Orthopaedic Surgeons at the Mater Children’s Hospital as the Spine Deformity team Physiotherapist. She facilitates the research collaboration between the Spine Orthopaedic Surgeons, the QUT Biomedical Engineers and the Queensland Children’s Hospital that allows a diverse range of high quality research into the clinical and biomechanical aspects of paediatric spine deformity and other spinal disorders that affect people of all ages.
