Koala calling events and vegetation data from a Phantom Road experiment

Viewed: 227

This dataset features koala calling events from a Phantom Road experiment conducted in South East Queensland, Australia.

The experiment consisted of broadcasting traffic noise and/or artificial lights into a roadless area while passively monitoring the ecosystem with acoustic sensors. Each line in the dataset represents one calling event manually annotated using graphical visualisations from the set of acoustic recordings (i.e. false colour spectrograms). Other variables include the location of the event (three control locations and three experimental locations); time of occurrence; time converted into radians for circular statistics; solar time calibrated for standardised sunrise and sunset times; treatment being applied at the time; and vegetation characteristics for each location.
