The Acoustic Workbench is open-source software for facilitating the uploading, management, access, visualization, and analysis of environmental acoustic data developed by the QUT Ecoacoustics Research Group.
The Acoustic Workbench is a website that makes storing and sharing environmental audio data easy. The software itself is generic and can be run by anyone that wants to archive environmental audio data. There are currently two known instances of the Acoustic Workbench: Ecosounds and the A2O.
The software open source is available in GitHub:
- QutEcoacoustics/workbench-client : A client side browser application for interacting with acoustic workbenches
- QutEcoacoustics/baw-server : The acoustic workbench server for storing and managing ecoacoustic data. Manages the structure and audio data. Provides an API for clients access.
